Real pranks on real people in a real movie? You can expect all sorts of explosions, major and minor injuries, and gorilla attacks in Netflix’s new film Bad Trip. Starring Eric Andre, Lil Rel Howery, Tiffany Haddish and Michaela Conlin.
From one of the guys that brought you Jackass and Bad Grandpa, this hidden camera comedy follows two best friends as they go on a cross-country road trip full of hilarious, inventive pranks, pulling its real-life audience into the mayhem.
The film was first spotted at SXSW around the same time last year. Bad Trip was originally supposed to release in theaters, but due to the pandemic the film was put on hold. To make matters worse, the film was leaked on Amazon Prime last summer, but was quickly removed. Now, it has been picked up by Netflix and family and friend will be able to watch this hilarious movie inside of their homes.
Bad Trip is directed by Kitao Sakurai from the minds of Dan Curry, Kitao Sakurai, and Andre – and produced by Andre, Jeff Tremaine, David Bernad, and Ruben Fleischer.
