Fresh off his latest single “Love Me,” which was released on Valentine’s Day, Jake Wil has returned with his anticipated single “Trenches.”
Born in Jackson, Mississippi where he honed on perfecting his craft, Wil formulated his very own sound inspired by various of sources in his life. The R&B and Trapsoul artist revealed that “Trenches” was written about a story that someone closed to him lived through. However, it addresses certain events that have happened in his life too. His new single also touches on ensuring everyone that you allow in your spaces or around you are solid people. He encourages people to hold on to those who keep you grounded and tell you when you’re doing too much.
The visual for “Trenches” is already completed and will be releasing sometime in August. For now, Jake is working on an album which his fans have been requesting for a while. “Trenches” will be avaible on all platforms July 25th.
