Megan Thee Stallion And DaBaby’s “Cry Baby” Induces “Toy Story” Uncut

Real Hot Girl Shit! Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby collaboration is always magical. After fans have patiently waited on a video to “Cash Shit,” these two manage to give us a treat.

On Wednesday night (February 3), Megan released the visual to “Cry Baby” featuring Charlotte MC. Directed by Colin Tilley, who worked with Meg on previous visuals like “Body,” “WAP,” and “Don’t Stop.” The imaginatively fun and freaky video opens up with fellow Houston comedian BlameItOnKway or should we say “TiTi,” who portrays the toy shop worker, playing with two dolls and making jokes about each other.

The Houston hottie slayed different looks throughout the video while showcasing her infamous cry baby dance, a viral challenge on social media before the video release. As DaBaby action figures prance around the store on foot to a red convertible car, Meg serves not only bars but body ody ody ody as she twerks to the beat of the song.

Megan released a snippet of her and Charlotte native DaBaby highly anticipated track on Monday (February 1), which has now re-entered the top 20 charts of US Apple Music at #20. Fans pointed out several 90s references to describe the music video, including our childhood favorite, Toy Story, but for a mature audience.

This isn’t the first time an artist was inspired by various classic films and television shows from the 90s. The pop culture boy band NSYNC channeled their inner doll versions of themselves in “It’s Gonna Be Me” in 2000. Mya enlisted Blackstreet, Mase, and Blinky Blink for “Take Me There” from The Rugrats Movie” soundtrack. Many others tapped into the wistfulness of the 90s that leaves us reminiscing on the good days.

Despite the negativity, Megan continues to outshine those through her music and accomplishments. Her debut album, Good News, went certified Gold, and she has earned four Grammy nominations, including Best New Artist. She was also nominated for an NAACP Image Award. The Houston hottie is just getting started and 2021 is the year Megan Thee Stallion solidifies herself as a multi-faceted star and constantly evolving cultural icon.
