Driune Santana got exclusive access to the 2018 Pink the Runway!
Kimberly Minor, the vice president of Friends of Survivors, once again showcased Pink the Runway Show. In previous years, this show has drawn fashionistas from all over Mississippi and raised money for Mississippians undergoing cancer treatments by way of collaborations with local designers, business owners and local talents. Hosted by Melissa Faith Payne, news personality of WDBD, and Tezzy Thomas!
Friends of Survivors was established in 2012 to honor a friend who survived breast cancer. The non profit organization raised money for their donation to the American Cancer Society, by hosting their inaugural Pink the Runway Fashion Show. Each year Friends of Survivors uses revenue from Pink the Runway fashion show ticket sales to make a donation in the name of a local survivor. In order to make this event successful we rely on donations from the community. To do this, we seek your support by way of sponsorship, partnership, or in-kind support. Your support will ensure that the 7th Annual Pink the Runway Benefit Fashion Show is successful.
Pink The Runway 2018 was filled with laughter, giveaways, and most of all FASHION! This event was held at the Fondren Hall this year and it was extremely worth attending!
Thank you Kimberly Minor for allowing me to cover your event this year! I can’t wait to do it all over again next year!
