Symone Royale discovered her love for music in her father’s church, where she learned how to sing and play the piano. At the age of 16, the Houston native began performing all over the Houston Metro area at various venues, which kept her in the spotlight during her high school years.
Symone was surrounded by the sounds of different genres of music. She developed a love for the intense funk sounds of Prince and Chaka Khan. Her interest in the music business landed her a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Business Management from Berklee College of Music.
Recently, Symone is using her platform to celebrate Women’s History Month by doing covers of a trailblazing woman in the music industry via Instagram and TikTok. Accompanied by the crisp taste of IslandJon Vodka, Symone plans to make her predecessors proud.
During an interview with Driune Santana, Symone discussed her latest project “Goin’ Deep”, her mini docuseries on YouTube and more.
